People from East Stroudsburg       love to come to Lake Genero, and Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region is a great spot to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Genero a wet place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is mostly the driest month. Get dripping wet paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek; dry warm beds await you at Caesars Cove Haven. Lake Mocatek Campground is a fine local campground, and paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen                  Tributary is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Moc A Tec Campground is a magnificent location to camp; the Brown Trail offers hiking at its best. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Genero; Boundary Trail is a magnificent local trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Lake Genero has to offer. Tanglwood is a very popular ski area around here, and you don’t have to go far from Lake Genero to observe the water at Roaming Woods Lake Dam.
