Hit the slopes at Ski Roundtop in the vicinity, and you can run the rapids of Codorus Creek. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Lake Frederic. If you need a location to stay Four Points By Sheraton York is a great choice; the wonderful folks of York-Hanover like to hang out nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be.       Go for a hike on the Horseshoe Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Corporate Gateway. Take a side visit to Conewago Creek, and a trip to Lake Frederic wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Conewago Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rattling Run Trail, and a nice location to camp here at Lake Frederic is Elizabethtown/Hershey KOA. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Conewago Creek - East;                  camping at Park Away Park is always a great experience. At York Haven Dam in the vicinity of Lake Frederic there are some interesting things to see; don't leave Lake Frederic without first going for a hike along the Darlington Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course in the neighborhood of Lake Frederic is Sunset Golf Course, and a lake close by is Lewis Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Lake Frederic is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January is when it's the driest. At Lake Frederic during the summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
