This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lake Donegal is pleasant fun, Donegal Campground is a pleasant local campground. Lake Donegal gets a typical amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Jacobs Creek; going for a hike on the Darr Trail       is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Acme Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and there are tremendous spots to discover along the Brant Trail. There's whitewater on Fourmile Run for all you adrenaline kick people, and Days Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. Really great skiing awaits you at Seven Springs, and close by you come across the Great Gorge Trail which is a great hiking trail. Lake Donegal is a perfect site                  to camp, Laurel Highlands Campland is a perfect site; close to Lake Donegal you hit upon a golf course called Donegal Highlands Golf Course. But wait, there's more to do near Lake Donegal. Hidden Valley has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and if you need a location to stay Donegal - Days Inn is a delightful choice. At Lake Donegal all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's.
