Good hiking is available along the Blooming Grove Trail, and why not pop by Constance Dam while you're here. At Lake Constance through the summertime highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Lake Constance sink into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby       lakes? Sure, Tinkwig Lake is close to Lake Constance, and you can go for a hike on the White Deer Trail. After a long day outdoors The Settlers Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and Lake Constance is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wilsonville Recreation Area is a great local campground. Lake Constance gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. There's splendid hiking along the                  Crawford Trail; dry warm beds await you at Tanglewood (Vri). So much cool stuff to do at Lake Constance, so little time. Drift down the rapids of Lackawaxen River in a kayak, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. Just can't get enough of Lake Constance. A day on the slopes of Tanglwood is just what you need; camping at Camp Watonka is always a good experience. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Lake Wallenpaupack is a lake in the neighborhood; enjoy a round of golf at Cricket Hill Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
