It's a magnificent idea to check out Riley Creek, it's right next door to Lake Como; get wet paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Lower Twin Lake is a lake in close proximity. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Como has to offer, you can camp at Camp Weequahic. Summertime highs at Lake Como commonly tend to be in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's. Highs all

| | through the winter are commonly in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Lake Como tend to be in the 10's. Lake Como sees pretty high levels of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. Very lovely scenery and good skiing is what you get at Elk Mountain. wonderful. Lake Como Dam is gorgeous and it's close to Lake Como. Lakes are magnificent; Spruce Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Lake Como. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Gotta ski! Mount Tone is a great place to do that, and paddling on Lackawanna River is so much fun.
