Susquehanna river from safe harbor dam all the way south to conowingo dam has the most amazing fishing and scenery and very friendly people always willing to help should a situation arise , I'm the guy who launches his little 14' aluminum boat with or without a friend at 6 am. Last week I caught my biggest fish ever a quarter mile below safe harbor dam. A 35 pound flathead catfish , I didn't get a picture but fortunately a friend was along on that day. Right
after catching the fish a eagle swooped down no more then 100 yards from us and scooped a fish, landed on a rock structure in the middle of the river and ate the fish. My next thought was this has to be one of the most beautiful places in the world , but to be honest , I've never traveled. Says Scott S.
