Be careful coming to Lake Cayuga, you might not ever want to return back home again. Lower Dam is a place that is next to Lake Cayuga, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Ski Big Bear. Summer at Lake Cayuga comes with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with       highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Cayuga are in the 0's. The annual rain here at Lake Cayuga is about average; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Take a hike on the Boundary Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Honesdale Golf Club is always a diversion. Big Brook is a pleasant location to stop by; the White Deer Trail offers hiking at its best. There's whitewater on Lackawanna River for all you thrill seekers. There's so much to do here at Lake Cayuga that you need to camp here for a while, Hideaway Lakes Camping is a delightful spot for that. If you need a spot to stay Tanglewood (Vri) is a good choice, and there are some great whitewater spots on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Cayuga. This lake is so wonderful.
