Rolling Green Run flows through this area; camping is available at Irish Valley Campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in the vicinity of Lake Augusta has to offer. Camping at Penn Avon Campground is always a great experience, and Lake Augusta is a site with many visitors from Sunbury. Playing golf is lots of fun at Kidd's Par 3 Golf Course, and the Minnich Hit Trail offers hiking       at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Sunbury Fabridam if you're here at Lake Augusta, and there's good hiking along the Matter Trail. Lake Augusta gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout June; the driest month is January. The vista of delightful Blue Hill near Lake Augusta is good; Comfort Inn Selinsgrove is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White Deer                  Creek. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Shamokin Dam is a delightful choice; why not take a refreshing hike along the Grimms Trail. High temperatures at Lake Augusta all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 60's.
