Many people like to go to Lake Aleeda. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Lake Aleeda. Wilkes Barre Golf Club is a good golf course nearby, and the Choke Creek Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Aleeda that you need to camp here for a while, Sandy Valley Campground is a delightful place for that, and Bear Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Aleeda is not far at all from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Pittston is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Airport is a brilliant choice. Jack Frost is a glorious local ski area, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Refuge Trail.
You can run the rapids of Spring Brook right next door to
Lake Aleeda, and a tremendous site to explore nearby is Rough Hollow. During the warm months at Lake Aleeda highs are regularly in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures through
the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Aleeda are in the 10's. Some nearby water includes Mud Run Creek; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Pinnacle Trail.
