Lots of folks from Lancaster come to Lake Aldred. There's whitewater on Muddy Creek - Susquehanna Tributary for all you thrill seekers, and Anderson Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. So much fun stuff near Lake Aldred, completely remarkable. Tucquan Park Family Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Susquehanna River.       This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Aldred you can take a hike along the Camp Echo Trail, and a wonderful close by hotel is Lancaster Amish Country Travelodge. Stay the night at Olde Forge Campground, and if you need a spot to stay Willow Valley Resort and Conference Center is a great choice. Summertime at Lake Aldred comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs                  are generally in the 30's while Lake Aldred overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
