Lackawanna Lake is a quite wet place commonly with a lot of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Fairground Hill is clearly visible from Lackawanna       Lake, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre for sure. Lackawanna Lake is right by the Pinnacle Trail, and Glen Oak Country Club is a wonderful golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lackawanna Lake that you need to camp here for a while, How Kola Camp is a good site for that; a lake close by is Lilly Lake. If you came to camp Highland Camp Ground is a splendid place to do that, and                  Lackawanna Lake is not the only place close by, Trostle Pond is a close by lake. High temperatures at Lackawanna Lake throughout the summertime are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Lackawanna Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Elk Mountain is wonderful; if you come at the right time of year, Lackawanna River offers some brilliant whitewater. A day on the slopes of Montage Mountain is just what you need; why not a little side journey to Kennedy Creek. Have a good hiking adventure along the Choke Creek Trail; Lackawanna Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really plentiful here at Lackawanna Lake.
