Do stop by Kyle Lake while you're in this part of Pennsylvania. Get soaked paddling on Anderson Creek, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Inn & Conference Center is a nice choice. Juniata Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and hey, Beaverdam Run is a great local stream. Kyle Lake gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.

This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dubois
is a pleasant spot to get some rest; you can stay the night at Clearview Camp Grounds. There are plenty of people from St. Marys here at Kyle Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Kyle Lake; McFadden Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Truman Trail.
