What a nice lake Kunkles Dam is. Really good skiing awaits you at Blue Marsh, and there are great places to explore along the Valley Rim Trail. Kunkles Dam gets a typical amount of rain; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. Christmas Pines Camp Ground is a fine local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Microtel Inn And Suites Hamburg is a great choice.
