The beauty of Kriss Pines Lake is reason enough to stop by. After a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lehighton, Pa is a great site to spend a night or two, and Kriss Pines Lake is right by the Boulder Field Trail. Why not stop by nearby Berry Run while you're here at Kriss Pines Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Big Boulder. Camping at Jim Thorpe Camping Resort is always a great experience, and hiking along the Choke

| | Creek Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Lizard Creek offers some brilliant whitewater; hey, Gotta ski right? Blue Mountain is a perfect site to do that. There are plenty of people from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton here at Kriss Pines Lake, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Refuge Trail. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Kriss Pines Lake. | |

Kriss Pines Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Mountain Camping Resort is a brilliant local campground, and Beltzville Dam is not far at all from Kriss Pines Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Kriss
Pines Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Kriss Pines Lake. Kriss Pines Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a great
deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lehigh River; if you need a site to stay Inn at Jim Thorpe is a good choice.
