This lake is so wonderful. Big Boulder has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Lehigh River. Kriss Pines Lake commonly gets much rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Kriss Pines Lake, you'll find Lehighton Reservoir which is a lovely lake, and if you need       a place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lehighton, Pa is a great choice. While you're here at Kriss Pines Lake you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and Kriss Pines Lake is not far at all from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Kriss Pines Lake. There's whitewater on Lizard Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; Inn at Jim Thorpe is a pleasant place to get some rest. There's no such thing                  as a bad day of skiing at nearby Blue Mountain, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Refuge Trail. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. Beltzville Dam is pretty and it's in the vicinity of Kriss Pines Lake; a magnificent place to camp here at Kriss Pines Lake is Jim Thorpe Camping Resort. Getting to Berry Run from Kriss Pines Lake is easy, and Kriss Pines Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Mountain Camping Resort is a brilliant local campground. Going for a hike along the Boulder Field Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Beltzville Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Kriss Pines Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
