The nice people of East Stroudsburg like to hang out close by, and Wyler Dam is not far at all from Kleinhans Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Kleinhans Lake. A nice nearby hotel is The Lodge at Woodloch, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Lackawaxen River. Swamps like Company Swamp close to Kleinhans Lake make for splendid spots       to visit, and the slopes of Ski Big Bear are so inviting noone can resist. There are great sites to look at along the Blooming Grove Trail; Kleinhans Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Watonka is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Fairview Outlet flows through this region, and a splendid site to camp here at Kleinhans Lake is Caffrey Campground. Going for a hike on the West Branch Bruce Lake Trail is always a nice adventure,                  and there's whitewater on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch for all you adrenaline junkies.
