Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Kizer Pond. Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes Region is a perfect spot to get some rest, and close by you come across the Lakeside Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly interested       in lakes, Half Moon Lake is one of those nearby, and scenic scenery and nice skiing is what you obtain at Elk Mountain. Kizer Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Moc A Tec Campground is a great local campground; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Montage Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Kizer Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Clayton Park Recreational                  Area is a good place for that, and going for a hike on the Boundary Trail is always a fine adventure. Looking for something close to Kizer Pond? Kizers Little Lake is nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Refuge Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Kizer Pond a rather wet place; June is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. At Kizer Pond through the summer months highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Kizer Pond dip into the 10's.
