| | The skiing at Mount Tone is nice; Kinneyville Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Camp Lohikan, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. Kinneyville Pond gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Lackawanna River, and Elk Mountain is a nice local ski area.
