Go to Kielar Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club; the Old Bulldozer Road Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Kielar Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Council Cup Campground is a tremendous local campground; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites DRUMS-HAZELTON (I-80) is a good location to get some rest. Paddling on Harveys Creek is so much fun. Lakes? Sure, Cranberry

This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Penobscot Mountain is striking and can be observed from Kielar Lake, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to spot at Keilar Dam in the vicinity of Kielar Lake. Kielar Lake gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest.

choice, and folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre love to come here. Whitewater paddling is good on Wapwallopen Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Keilar Lake. At Kielar Lake all through
the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Kielar Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much
to do here at Kielar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Moyers Grove Campground and RV is a great place for that, and why not a little side trip to Middle Branch Newport Creek.
