What a nice lake Kiel lake is. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area in close proximity to Kiel lake has to offer. Super 8 Motel - Pittston is a good location to get some rest, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Wilkes Barre Golf Club. Lehigh Gorge Campground is a brilliant local campground, and Lake Aleeda is a brilliant lake nearby. At Kiel lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's,

| | and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Kiel lake tend to be in the 10's.

This lake is so wonderful. Jack Frost is a very popular ski area nearby; needless to say Mud Run Creek flows through this vicinity. Kiel lake is close to Lake
Aleeda Dam which is a striking location unquestionably worth going to, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spring Brook. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Kiel
lake you'll meet some folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre for sure, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Bear Creek.
After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Airport is a magnificent site to spend
a night or two; you can go for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail. Kiel lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Sandy Valley Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby; going for a hike on the Refuge Trail is always a great adventure.
