Lower Rickards Dam is a stunning location near Kiel Lake, and obviously, all our national parks are fine places to take a look at and Delaware National Scenic River is
no exception. Why not camp at Resorts USA while you're here at Kiel Lake, and the Bald Barren Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Tanglwood, and since you're here, you could
have a look at Nichecronk Brook.
High temperatures at Kiel Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's; all through the dark
hours in the wintertime at Kiel Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lake Kemadobi is close by, and after a long day outdoors Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a splendid place to spend a night or two.
