Playing golf is lots of fun at Mannitto Golf Club, and a great site to camp here at Keystone Lake is Keystone State Pk Visitor Center. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to Keystone Lake. New Alexandria Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and why not camp at Lazy Acres Campground while you're here at Keystone Lake. The annual rain here at Keystone Lake is about average;       the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. There's whitewater on Fourmile Run for all you adrenaline junkies, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Keystone Lake; Wolf Rocks Trail is a great local trail. A day on the slopes of Seven Springs is just what you need, and there's delightful hiking along the Brant Trail. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Blairsville                  is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and why not check out Keystone Dam since you're here. What a location this is for outdoors folks. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Crabtree Creek, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Hidden Valley is relatively near. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Davis Run from Keystone Lake is trouble-free; dry warm beds await you at Wingate by Wyndham - Latrobe. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Keystone Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Keystone Lake tend to be in the 10's.
