Beautiful Keilar Lake has much to offer visitors. Summertime highs at Keilar Lake generally tend to be in the 80's; the night is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Keilar Lake tend to be in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Paddling on Wapwallopen Creek is so much fun, and Council Cup Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. Cranberry

| | Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Penobscot Mountain is painless to spot from Keilar Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Keilar Lake to observe the water at Keilar Dam, and it's a magnificent idea to visit Middle Branch Newport Creek. Take a look at nearby Black Creek Swamp, and Moyers Grove Campground and RV is a great local campground.

(I-80) is a pleasant choice. While you're here at Keilar Lake, you could also check out wonderful Kielar Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Drums.
Lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come to Keilar Lake, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Old Bulldozer Road Trail.
