Keen Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Keen Lake, so little time. Caesars Cove Haven is a good place to get some rest, and if you get bored of Keen Lake you could also stop by nearby Lake Ladore. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Boundary Trail, and       Little Keen Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Keen Lake Dam; while you're here you can take a hike along the White Deer Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Hamlin, and camping at Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Keen Lake is Lackawanna River, and camping is available at                  Valleyview Farm and Campground. At Keen Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Keen Lake during the winter usually descend into the 0's. A day on the slopes of Mount Tone is just what you need, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Brown Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
