Mc Kee Hill is pretty and can be seen from K Section Pond, and Mountain View Golf Club is a golf course close by. Take a hike on the High Rock Nature Trail, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Marsh Creek. K Section Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Granite Hill Campground is a great local campground, and Friends Creek is next to K Section Pond and is always a bliss       to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Catoctin Mountain Park is a delightful place near K Section Pond; a great close by hotel is Eisenhower Hotel. Just can't get enough of K Section Pond. K Section Pond is right by the Green Ridge Trail. The annual precipitation here at K Section Pond is about average; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of K Section Pond, you could                  also visit nearby Charnita Lake; there are plenty of people from Gettysburg here. The skiing at Ski Liberty is nice, and camping at Gettysburg Koa Kampground is always a good experience. But wait, there's more to do near K Section Pond. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit K Section Dam, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Owens Creek. Have a great hiking adventure along the Cunningham Falls Nature Trail; if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites is a glorious choice. During the warm days of summer at K Section Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's.
