High temperatures at Joslyn Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Joslyn Pond fall into the 10's. Campbells Ledge Reservoir is a nice lake near Joslyn Pond, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre       here. This lake is so wonderful. Joslyn Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Highland Camp Ground is a great local campground, and going for a hike on the Refuge Trail is always a great adventure. A fine place to camp here at Joslyn Pond is How Kola Camp, and after a long day outdoors Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston Knights Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The slopes of Jack                  Frost are so inviting noone can resist; you can go for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail. Spring Brook has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and close by you locate the Pinnacle Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Pittston; Montage Mountain is a great local ski area. Gardner Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawanna River. Playing golf is lots of fun at Applewood Golf Course. Lakes? Sure, Falling Springs Reservoir is in close proximity. Joslyn Pond is a good site of common precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Joslyn Pond.
