This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Montage Mountain is just what you need. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Meshoppen Creek; here at Jeffers Pond you can catch a sight of Jeffers Hill. Jeffers Pond ordinarily gets much rain; June is when you get the most rain       here, and February is when it's the driest. Head up to Elk Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and a glorious close by hotel is Comfort Inn Clarks Summit. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Jeffers Pond is Shore Forest Campground, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lakeland Golf Club. All through the summertime highs here at Jeffers Pond reach the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are                  typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Jeffers Pond. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GIBSON is a fine choice; Jeffers Pond is right by the Pinnacle Trail.
