If you are in Monroe county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Jamie. A great close by hotel is Shadowbrook Resort; drift down the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek in a kayak. You're probably into lakes, Lake in the Clouds is one of those nearby, and Camp Pocono Ridge is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little spree to Spruce Mountain Run while you're here at Lake Jamie, and Ledgedale Recreation Area is a great campground nearby.

| | This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club, and the Boundary Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Lake Jamie sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through June, and February on the other hand is the driest. Gotta ski! Mount Airy Lodge is a wonderful place to do that; if you need a place to stay Skytop Lodge is a delightful choice.

and the top of Middle Mountain is easily made out from Lake Jamie. All through the warm days of summer here at Lake Jamie, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's while Lake Jamie night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. So many fun things to do at Lake Jamie, so little time. Very gorgeous scenery and brilliant skiing is
what you get at Alpine Mountain, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Russell is just a very short distance away.
Jamie Lake Dam has splendid water scenery and it's near Lake Jamie, and there is a nice hiking
trail close by called the Burley Inlet Trail. This place is peerless, just check out all the fun things to do right next door to Lake Jamie. Near Lake Jamie you hit upon the Snow Shanty Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; get soaked paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch.
