Italian Lake is a lake worth visiting. Italian Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lots of folks from Harrisburg-Carlisle come to Italian Lake, and if you've had enough of Italian Lake, Camp Hill Borough Pool is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Italian Lake is not the only site close by, Wildwood Lake is a close by lake, and why not camp at Wray's Riverfront Campground while you're here at Italian Lake. Going for a hike along the Darlington Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a nice place to camp here at Italian Lake is Park Away Park. at Italian Lake, you can go for a hike along the Victoria Trail, and paddling on Bermudian Creek is so much fun. Beaver Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and golf can be played at Sportsman's Golf Course. During
the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Italian Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Italian Lake
during the wintertime frequently sink into the 10's. Just can't get enough of Italian Lake. But wait, there's more to do close to Italian Lake. On a magnificent day at Italian Lake you can take a hike along the Shikellimy Trail,
and Wildwood Dam is not far at all from Italian Lake. The slopes of Ski Roundtop are so inviting noone can resist, and a perfect nearby hotel is Staybridge Suites HARRISBURG.

Swimming is pleasant in the spring feed lake. We have a floating ''swim platform'' from which kids can jump and adults can sunbathe. Canoes, rowboats, and peddleboats are available to rent for your boating pleasure.
