Iron Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Iron Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Push The Rock is a great spot for that; not far from Iron Lake you'll come across Fernhill Lake which is a stunning lake. Iron Lake is not far at all from Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington, and Holiday Inn Express Exton-Lionville, Pa is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Brandywine Creek - East Branch; don't leave Iron Lake without first going for a hike along the Lenade Trail. and the driest month of the year is February. If you came to camp Water World is a fine location to do that, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Inn At Chester Springs.
You can distinguish North Valley Hills from Iron Lake, and playing
golf is lots of fun at West Chester Golf & Country Club. Lakes? Sure, Township Line Reservoir is close at hand. Just can't get enough of Iron Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on French Creek, and you can go for a hike on
the Buzzard Trail.
Summertime highs at Iron Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, regularly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; night lows at Iron Lake during the winter frequently drop into the 10's.
