    Why not stop by Indianola Lake if you're passing through these parts. If you get bored of Indianola Lake, you could also pop by nearby Twin Lakes, and Evergreen Lake Camping is a perfect local campground. Indianola Lake really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. If time allows, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth a visit; if you came for an overnight stay Don Laine Campground is a nice place to camp. Summer  
   at Indianola Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows at Indianola Lake through the winter generally fall into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Bear Creek is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the Boulder Field Trail. Indianola Lake regularly gets a good deal of rain; the month
 
               of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. After a long day outdoors Ramada Inn Allentown/Whitehall is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and Indianola Lake is not the only place close by, Blue Mount Lake is a close by lake.
If you're here, you might as well stop at Little Gap, and Lehigh River is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail, and you can hit the slopes at Blue Mountain close by. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tunkhannock Creek, and you'll meet a lot of people from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton here.
Don't leave Indianola Lake without first going for a hike along the Camelback Trail; dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - ALLENTOWN. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Indianola Lake has to offer. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Woodstone Golf Club.
