Indianola Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A splendid nearby hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - ALLENTOWN; a great location to go to is Little Gap. Bear Creek is a tremendous local ski area, and if you need a place to stay Ramada Inn Allentown/Whitehall is a delightful choice. Woodstone Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; you can go for a hike on the Indian Trail.
So much enjoyable stuff to do at Indianola Lake, so little time.

| | Why not camp at Evergreen Lake Camping if you're here at Indianola Lake, and going for a hike on the Camelback Trail is always a nice adventure. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Indianola Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. A large amount of precipitation falls at Indianola Lake; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping
is available at Don Laine Campground, and visiting Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail in close proximity to
Indianola Lake called the Boulder Field Trail; you can run the rapids of Tunkhannock Creek.
There are plenty of folks from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton here at Indianola Lake, and the skiing at Blue Mountain is delightful.
