Do explore Kenda Dam since you're here at Indian Lake; Indian Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Rustic Acres Campground is a splendid local campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Indian Lake get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Indian Lake throughout the winter typically dip into the 10's. Indian Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation;

You can run the rapids of Sewickley Creek near Indian Lake, needless to say you could also stop at Barnes Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.

If you need a place to stay Pittsburgh East Monroeville Red Roof Inn is a good choice; you can never
get enough of the delightful skiing at Boyce Park. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express IRWIN (PA TPK EXIT 67), and Jacobs Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
