The beauty of Indian Lake is reason enough to stop by. The amount of precipitation that falls at Indian Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. Not far from Indian Lake, you'll stumble on Barnes Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and a good nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Irwin (Pa Trnpk Exit 7), Pa. This lake is so wonderful. everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Jacobs Creek.
Indian Lake is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Madison Koa Kampgrounds is a tremendous spot to camp nearby; if you come at the right time of year,
Sewickley Creek offers some good whitewater. All through the long summer days highs here at Indian Lake reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime
for Indian Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Carradam Golf Club is close at hand, and after a long day outdoors Springhill Suites By Marriott Monroeville is a nice place to spend a night or two.
