Skytop Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest; whitewater paddling is great on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. After a long day outdoors Shadowbrook Resort is a fine location to spend a night or two, and paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek is so much fun. High temperatures at Icks Pond through the days of summer are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the       30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Icks Pond. There's good hiking along the Burley Inlet Trail; Icks Pond sits in the shade of the Pocono Mountains. Icks Pond gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls during June while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Whittaker Trail, and Delaware National Scenic River is one of the destinations that are splendid to stop                  by nearby. Number Three Dam is gorgeous and it's near Icks Pond. Lakes are wonderful; Mud Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Icks Pond. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Icks Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Icks Pond has to offer, you can camp at Ledgedale Recreation Area; you're sure to bump into some nice people from East Stroudsburg here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Icks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Secluded Acres Campground is a perfect place for that, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Tanglwood while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability keen on lakes, Wilsons Swamp Pond is one of those nearby; you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Alpine Mountain. On a tremendous day you can stop at Black Ash Swamp, a swamp near Icks Pond, and hey, Dark Hollow Run is a pleasant local stream. Golf can be played at Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club; the vista of wonderful East Mountain is nice. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Icks Pond.
