Ice Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Fourmile Run, and a quick trip to Coalpit Run is absolutely a magnificent idea. For the period of the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Ice Pond. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Ice Pond. Paddling on Loyalhanna Creek is so much fun; you can hit the slopes

This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Forbes Trail Camp is a brilliant site to camp; since you're here you can take a hike along the Darr Trail. Very good water scenery is available at Ice Pond Dam close to Ice Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. Donne Lake Campground is a fine campground nearby; a glorious nearby hotel is Ramada Inn At Historic Ligonier.

Ice Pond gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; through July this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. The Springs at Laurel Mountain has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and the Wolf Rocks Trail
is a great hiking trail close by. Hampton Inn & Suites Blairsville is a splendid site to get some rest, and a splendid place to have a look at is Clark Hollow.
If the weather is perfect here at Ice Pond, you can go for a hike
along the Brant Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Champion Lakes Golf Club is around here.
