A splendid panorama of stunning Keipel Hill is available from Ice Pond, and Camelback is a tremendous local ski area. Summertime highs at Ice Pond usually tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Ice Pond temperatures drop to the 10's.       This lake is so wonderful. Fern Ridge Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. Getting to Cross Keys Run from Ice Pond is simple; everybody nearby loves skiing at Big Boulder. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Hemlock Campground and Cottages is a good spot to camp, and if you get bored of Ice Pond you could also                  go to nearby Jimmy Pond. The yearly rain here at Ice Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Be careful coming to Ice Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of Ice Pond called the Lakeside Trail, and a great swamp near Ice Pond is Beagle Hole Swamp. Going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always a delightful adventure, and you can run the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek. There's whitewater on Tunkhannock Creek for all you thrill seekers, and nearby you find the Camelback Trail which is a great hiking trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Ice Pond. A lake close by is Lake Naomi, and a spree to Bill Warner Spring will fill your spirit with delightful feelings.
