Why not stop by Hunter Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Laurel Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a golf course nearby is Evergreen Golf Club. Paradise Creek is a magnificent whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Hunter Lake; if you need a place to stay Ramada Limited Pocono is a magnificent choice. The great folks of East Stroudsburg like to hang out close by, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Pocono Creek.

at all the enjoyable things to do close to Hunter Lake. Bulgers Run flows through this area, and don't leave Hunter Lake without first going for a hike along the Indian Trail.
There's delightful hiking along the Camelback Trail,
and camping at Pocono Vacation Park Campground is always a delightful experience. Hunter Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is May; February on the other hand is the driest. Any time is a magnificent
time at Hunter Lake if you go for the outdoors.
Camping is available at Arrowhead Campground, and not far from Hunter Lake you obtain some magnificent water scenery at Hunter Lake Dam. Very beautiful scenery and nice skiing is
what you get at Mount Airy Lodge, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hunter Lake; Lakeside Trail is a great local trail.
