Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Horseshoe Pond is one of them. You can run the rapids of Walnut Creek right next door to Horseshoe Pond, and a glorious location for whitewater paddling is Elk Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hills Family Campground while you're here at Horseshoe Pond, and obviously, this is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes, Big Pond is a lake close by.

Horseshoe Pond really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Not far from Horseshoe Pond you find Crystal Point, and Avalon Hotel is a wonderful location
to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Erie here at Horseshoe Pond; Joseph Martin Golf Club is a great golf course close by. Horseshoe Pond gets a normal amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is September while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
