Hirsh Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bald Hill Trail, and you can stay the night at Kittatiny Campgrounds. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Hirsh Pond. The slopes of Holiday Mountain are so inviting noone can resist.       You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hirsh Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Tel Yehuda; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Lackawaxen River. Dry warm beds await you at RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford; a quick visit to Beaver Brook is undeniably a great idea. While you're here at Hirsh Pond, you could also have a look at pretty Verga Pond; Tanglwood is a magnificent local ski area. This place, Hirsh Pond, it simply has so much outdoors                  enjoyable stuff. Get soaked paddling on Shohola Creek; German Hill is clearly visible from Hirsh Pond. Hiking along the Maple Brook Trail is pleasant fun, and York Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Summertime highs at Hirsh Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Hirsh Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
