you can always stop by close by Egelman Basin; Lake Antietam Dam is a spot that is close to Hinnerskiz Basin. What would winter be without some skiing at Blue Marsh; if you came to camp Old Dutch Mill Campground is a good place to
do that. Going for a hike along the Horseshoe Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and there are some great whitewater spots on Brandywine Creek - West Branch.
Hinnerskiz Basin is right by the Lenade Trail,
and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Reading is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Hinnerskiz Basin there are plenty of people from Reading; a great nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Northeast.
