Hinckston Run Reservoir is a rather wet place regularly with much rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. While you're here at Hinckston Run Reservoir you can take a hike along the Clark Run Trail, and Alumni Hotel & Lounge is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Blacklick Creek - South Branch has       a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and dry warm beds await you at Crown American Hotels. And that's not all you can do here at Hinckston Run Reservoir. Take a hike on the Roger Mountain Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Hinckston Run Dam. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Pleasant Valley Golf Course is a delightful way to kill some time. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Hinckston                  Run Reservoir get into the 70's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Hinckston Run Reservoir dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Conemaugh River; the great people of Johnstown like to hang out nearby.
