Hidden Lake is a place with many visitors from East Stroudsburg, and scenic scenery and nice skiing is what you obtain at Tanglwood. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do near Hidden Lake. A pretty lake like Lake Lacawac next to Hidden Lake is a good site to have a look at, and you can run the rapids of Wallenpaupack       Creek. Hidden Lake is a reasonably wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Boundary Trail is brilliant fun, and what would winter be without some skiing at Ski Big Bear. Going for a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and getting to Ariel Creek from Hidden Lake is easy. At Hidden Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hidden Lake sink into the 0's.
