It's always fun to stop by Hickory Run Lake. The summit of Pine Hill can be distinguished from Hickory Run Lake; what would winter be without some skiing at Split Rock. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Refuge Trail; Hickory Run Lake is right by the Boulder Field Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Jack Frost is a tremendous place to do that; Jim Thorpe Camping Resort is a fine local campground.

Hickory Run Lake is a pretty wet place usually with lots of rainfall; throughout August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. For the duration of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 70's at Hickory Run Lake with night lows in the 50's. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are really plentiful here at Hickory Run Lake. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Mountain Laurel Golf Club is around
here, and do take a hike on the Choke Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Big Spring is always fun to check out, and you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Mosey Wood Pond is one of those nearby.
