Float down the rapids of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary in a kayak, and       great hiking is available along the Boundary Trail. Just can't get enough of Hetzel Pond. If you need a place to stay Caesars Cove Haven is a glorious choice, and there's splendid hiking along the Lakeside Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort, and the Brown Trail offers hiking at its best. What would winter be without some skiing at Ski Big Bear; there's always Hetzell Pond Dam to check out near Hetzel                  Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Very wonderful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Elk Mountain, and you're perhaps into lakes, Curtis Pond is one of those close by. Summertime highs at Hetzel Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Hetzel Pond tend to be in the 10's.
