Why not stop by Lake Heritage if you're passing through these parts. A great close by hotel is Courtyard by Marriott Gettysburg, and in close proximity to Lake Heritage you locate a golf course called Meadow Brook Golf Course. From a precipitation point of view Lake Heritage is a relatively common place; June is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Lake Heritage during the days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Trail offers hiking at its best; Lake Heritage is good enough to spend more than a day at, Drummer Boy Camping Resort is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Country Inn And Suites By Carlson
Gettysburg is a good choice, and there's good hiking along the Hammonds Rocks Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Marsh Creek; a journey to Catoctin Mountain Park is worthwhile. There are plenty of folks from Gettysburg here
at Lake Heritage; here at Lake Heritage you can distinguish Sheep Heaven. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Heritage; Scenic Vista Trail is a glorious local
trail. Why not stop by nearby Chicken Run while you're here at Lake Heritage, and if you come at the right time of year, Conewago Creek - West offers some wonderful whitewater. Not far from Lake Heritage, you'll come across Zinkand Pond which is a charming lake; why not head up to Ski Liberty and strap some skis to your feet.
