If you are in this part of Pennsylvania make sure to pay a visit to Lake Heritage. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Lake Heritage; through June this area sees the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Heritage; Hammonds Rocks Trail is a great local trail, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Gettysburg here.

Pond, and near Lake Heritage you come across a golf course called Meadow Brook Golf Course. If you need a site to stay Courtyard by Marriott Gettysburg is a good choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Marsh Creek offers
some pleasant whitewater. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lake Heritage. Catoctin Mountain Park is a glorious national park, and here at Lake Heritage you can catch a sight of Sheep
Heaven.
Skiing at Ski Liberty is one of those things you just ought to do, and Lake Heritage is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Artillery Ridge Camp Resort is a brilliant place to camp nearby. Through the summertime
here at Lake Heritage, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Heritage are in the 20's.
