Not far from Heritage Lake, you'll stumble on Russell Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and Fike Run is close to Heritage Lake and is always a delight to visit. If you came for an overnight stay Five Pines Camping and Recreation is a magnificent place to camp; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Uniontown Pa is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Camping is available at Tall Oaks Campground, and glide down the rapids       of Beaver Creek in a kayak. Heritage Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Fairfield Inn By Marriott Uniontown. Lakes are tremendous; Surprise Lake is a lake that's right next door to Heritage Lake. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Heritage Lake, and throughout the                  night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Heritage Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Heritage Lake. Very glorious water scenery is available at Heritage Reservation Dam in the vicinity of Heritage Lake, and stunning scenery and glorious skiing is what you acquire at Wisp. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Great Gorge Trail.
