The scenery at Heritage Reservation Dam right next door to Heritage Lake is stunning, and glide down the rapids of Beaver Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Fike Run. There's so much to do here at Heritage Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Five Pines Camping and Recreation is a tremendous location for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Heritage       Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tall Oaks Campground; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Uniontown Pa is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Fike Run is a charming stream that is worth a visit, and Fairfield Inn By Marriott Uniontown is a wonderful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Bluegill Pond is a lake nearby. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Heritage                  Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Heritage Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. And that's not all you can do here at Heritage Lake. Go for a hike on the Great Gorge Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wisp. Don't leave Heritage Lake without first going for a hike along the Mile Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Oak Lake.
