A visit to Hemlock Lake is always a good idea. Paddling on Tunkhannock Creek is so much fun; playing golf is lots of fun at Indian Mountain Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth checking out; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Big Boulder. While you're here at Hemlock Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, and there's tremendous hiking along the Camelback Trail. During the months of summer at Hemlock Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. Chestnut Lake Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hemlock Lake; Indian Trail is a tremendous local trail.
