This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Pleasant Valley Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Blacklick Creek. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Johnstown-Dwtn, Pa is a delightful choice, and going for a hike on the Laurel Highlands Trail is always a tremendous adventure. There's some flowing water close by,       Big Spring Run is a stream you can have a look at while you're here, and The Springs at Laurel Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. Hedges Lakes gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Yellow Creek Camp Ground is a good local campground. Go for a hike on the Roger Mountain Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Conemaugh River offers some magnificent                  whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for folks from Indiana, and a lake close by is High Ridge Reservoir. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great earth it would be. Holiday Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and why not camp at Mirror Lake Resort if you're here at Hedges Lakes. Econo Lodge Johnstown is a perfect location to get some rest, and close by you come across the Clark Run Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Hedges Lakes with overnight lows in the 50's.
