The beauty of Hedges Lakes attracts many people from all around. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Conemaugh River, and if you came to camp Yellow Creek Camp Ground is a brilliant site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Blacklick Creek, and the Laurel Highlands Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.

This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Johnstown-Dwtn, Pa is a perfect choice, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the
Clark Run Trail. A pleasant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Johnstown, and don't forget to take a wonderful little trip to Big Spring Run. Hedges Lakes sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the
one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
For the period of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Hedges Lakes, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Hedges Lakes.
