After a long day outdoors Days Inn Scranton PA is a great place to spend a night or two, and Lackawanna River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Heart Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is June while February is mostly the driest month. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Heart Lake rocks! Heart Lake is right by the Refuge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Dunmore-Scranton. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Elk Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood; the Pinnacle Trail offers hiking at its best.
Why not pop by Coleman Dam if you're here; of course, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Graves Pond is a lake around here. Nearby lakes? Sure, Chapman Lake is in the neighborhood of Heart Lake, and why not head up to Montage Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. High temperatures at Heart Lake through the summer are in the 70's, | |

and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows at Heart Lake during the wintertime regularly plunge into the 10's.
You're sure to come across some great folks from
Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. Skyline Public Golf Course is a glorious golf course nearby, and Clayton Park Recreational Area is a delightful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay How Kola Camp is a perfect location to camp, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Spring Brook.
