You could also visit Williams Bridge Reservoir since you're here at Hazard Pond; it's nearby; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Lackawanna River. You'll meet a lot of folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here; hiking is a popular thing to do around Hazard Pond; Pinnacle Trail is a great local trail. Hazard Pond is not the only location nearby, Number Seven Reservoir is a nearby lake, and why not camp at Clayton Park Recreational Area if you're here at Hazard Pond. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Hazard Pond. Camping is available at Lake Greeley Camp, and                  you can hit the slopes at Jack Frost nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Montage Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and don't leave Hazard Pond without first going for a hike along the Refuge Trail. A large amount of rainfall falls at Hazard Pond; during June this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the warm months highs here at Hazard Pond reach the 70's; the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 50's.
