     In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kitchen Creek; a quick visit to Fades Creek is undeniably a perfect idea. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Grassy Pond is one of those close by, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn -Hazleton/Drums is a fine location to spend a night or two. From a precipitation point of view Harris Pond is a pretty typical location; June is  
   the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Harveys Creek is a perfect whitewater spot near Harris Pond, and Harris Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Cooper's Hidden Lake Campsites is a glorious local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Harris Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Good's Campground is a great spot for that, and if you've had enough of Harris Pond,
 
               North Lake is close by. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Harris Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail; Harris Pond Dam has good water scenery.
For the period of the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Harris Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Harris Pond. A golf course close to Harris Pond is Sweet Valley Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Hazleton North is a delightful choice.

On July 28, 2008 I drove my 40' motor home to 81-80 CG.? There was no access to the CG.? The drive was blocked with traffic cones.? There didn't appear to be any campers any where around or inside.? It must be closed........
