Dark Hollow is a wonderful location to stop at close by, and do take a hike on the Pinnacle Trail. The yearly rain here at Harlow Pond is about average; most of the rain falls all through July, and January is when it's the driest. All the outdoors fun things close to Harlow Pond will keep you coming back time and again. Highland Camp Ground is a magnificent campground nearby, and get yourself       into a kayak and hit Lackawanna River. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Pittston is a good place to spend a night or two; Harlow Pond is not the only spot close by, Lake Aleeda is a close by lake. Get drenched paddling on Spring Brook, and golf can be played at Fox Hill Country Club. Having a brilliant time at Harlow Pond is simple. Stay the night at Lehigh Gorge Campground. Very striking scenery and great skiing is what you get at Jack Frost,                  and Harlow Pond is right by the Choke Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Montage Mountain is a good spot to do that, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Scranton—Wilkes-Barre. You could also visit Kiel lake if you're here at Harlow Pond; it's nearby; Holiday Inn Express Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Airport is a delightful place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Little Shiney Mountain can be seen from Harlow Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Refuge Trail. High temperatures at Harlow Pond all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
